Arts & Business NI sought McGarry Consulting to mentor five organisations who sought assistance with business development in a new era of funding cuts. Key areas were planning, funding, revenue generation, governance, managing resources, strategy and marketing & promotion. Businesses included:

Arts & Business NI chose McGarry Consulting based on our mentoring track-record, experience of arts and creative organisations, personable approach, knowledge of non-profit sector, funding and strong testimonials. We love working with similar arts organisations, as they bring so much imagination, inspiration and insight whilst free of the rigidity of many larger formal organisations.

MENTORING PROCESS

Normally, each business was provided with 8hrs mentoring spread over at least 4 face to face meetings, with any remainder for assistance & support. An evaluation report was issued at the end (to both Arts & Business NI and the arts organisation) outlining what had been achieved and overview of the mentoring process.
