EDENDERRY ECONOMIC & ARCHITECTURAL MASTERPLAN

Edenderry, Co Offaly is a growing commuter town of ~7,400 people 50km west of Dublin; and 30km east of Tullymore. Offaly County Council have identified a 33 acre site stretching from the main street (former Tesco store on JKL Street) through Blundell Park to the South and the Grand Canal to the east; which could be used more productively to rejuvenate the town. The ‘JKL Street Backlands Site’ is outlined below and forms the basis of the Masterplan. McGarry Consulting are delighted to team up with The Paul Hogarth Company to deliver this masterplan.

CONSULTATIONS (11th MAY -1ST JUNE 2020) NOW CLOSED

Our first public information session was held on Wednesday 16th October, with further consultations undertaken throughout October and November 2019. The results fed into the draft plan (video, idea boards & survey below). This led to the second stage of consultations, which lasted 3 weeks - from Monday 11th May to Monday 1st June; and was online only.
